Maho Crossroads is thrilled to take part in St. John Ocean Week! This is a week-long, island-wide beach cleanup on St. John from October 14-19.
Keeping a small environmental footprint and protecting the ocean and our wildlife has always been a top priority for us.
Maho Crossroads uses environmentally safe products. Our trash and recycling is picked up every morning, and a Maho Crossroads staff member walks the entire beach at the end of each day to pick up trash from beachgoers.
On Saturday, October 19th, we are hosting a gathering to close out this great week of a community-wide collaboration to beautify St. John.
Tropiganda will take the stage from 1-4pm bringing “yacht rock” hits of the 70’s and 80’s. Friends of the Virgin Islands National Park will be on site for reef-safe sunscreen education and to offer information about their organization and membership benefits.
The Love Maho Beach Boutique will have hats, rash guards, and reef-safe sunscreen on special throughout the day as well. All volunteers a with Friends of VINP will receive a complimentary beverage for helping with the beach cleanup that morning.
We are also offering a free beverage to anyone who cleans a beach throughout STJ Ocean Week!
And don’t forget to bring your own cup. For every reusable cup we refill at the Paddle-In Tiki Bar we will donate one dollar to Friends VINP!
